17 An original Prince of Wales investiture chair. In July 1969, Prince Charles was crowned the Prince of Wales by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Caernarfon Castle. For the ceremony, guest chairs were designed by Lord Snowdon and featured the distinctive Prince of Wales plume in the back.
