Incollect Magazine 83 Between the windows, a custom built-in desk holds a small glazed and enameled French Art Deco table lamp by Jean Besnard for Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, with a Jean Royère “Boule” chair in wrought iron detailed with gilt brass balls. French 1940s armchairs with rounded profiles and generous proportions are paired with geometric “Créneaux” nesting tables by Jean Royère. The sofa and custom parchment coffee table are contemporary. In front of the antique Louis XIV Breccia Violetta marble fireplace is a pair of French Art Deco armchairs by André Sornay, with a tripod-legged wrought iron guéridon accented with hanging rings by Jean-Michel Frank, dating from the early 1940s.
