An early modern painter, he remained true to a Post-Cubist compositional style until the 1950’s when he began working with an increasing level of abstraction. Vénard exhibited internationally with success for the duration of his career, including shows in London, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Düsseldorf, Munich, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo.
