Following graduation, Rose enrolled at Parsons School of Design in New York City to pursue her love of fashion design, and later went on to work with esteemed designers Richard Tyler and Christian Francis Roth. With a love of couture fabric and fanatic appreciation of detail, Rose’s vision and passion compelled her to create the Lela Rose Collection in 1998. In fall 2oo6, Rose debuted the Lela Rose Bridal Collection, and following the success of that line, introduced an exclusive bridesmaid line.
